Uncovering Truths in Psychic Phenomena

We face a difficult era in which strong negative influences are not only affecting masses of people but also creating devastating situations all over the planet. However, the current situation is not just one of destruction and decline because, in the midst of the negativity, we are also witnessing miracles and extraordinary events, which indicate a gradual upliftment of global consciousness. Consequently, we will see an increasing polarization of consciousness on the planet—opportunities exist for total absorption in either end of the pious-impious continuum. Therefore, we need practical knowledge to fortify us during these challenging times so that we, as spiritual warriors, can uplift our consciousness rather than succumb to the massive patterns of negativity. 

The purpose of this book, Spiritual Warrior I: Uncovering Spiritual Truths in Psychic Phenomena, is twofold—to present information that will enable the reader to view the world from a perspective transcendental to conventional material or metaphysical analyses, and to provide answers to many unanswered questions that will assist the reader in raising personal standards and goals. The book achieves this end by following three major themes. First, it shows the distinction between positive and negative psychic phenomena; secondly, it distinguishes between the physical, astral, and spiritual realms; and thirdly, it acknowledges our ability to create our own realities based on our consciousness. Please note that sensational language addressing psychic phenomena is used to connect with an audience conversant with metaphysical topics.

These three themes run throughout each of the chapters beginning with Dreams: A State of Reality and ending with The Quest for Eternal Bliss. Our discussion of dreams, psychic intrusions, possessions, walk-ins, and other related topics help the reader understand the distinction between the gross body and the subtle body. Although we are in fact the soul, in this realm we do have two bodies, the physical and the subtle. Recognizing this distinction will play a crucial role in understanding how each of these subtle influences such as dreams, subliminal messages, and so on affects all aspects of our lives. We want to increase our knowledge so that we will have the ability to ward off any bombardment that might degrade our consciousness.

Our understanding is certainly incomplete and even self-centered if we think that nothing exists beyond this single planet we call earth. The sections which discuss the structure of the universe; angels and demigods; heaven and hell; the pyramids; and UFOs and the mothership broaden our limited perspective of this planet and even this universe by taking us beyond our normal understanding. We want to offer a more clear conception of our own position in this hierarchy of planetary systems and, most importantly, we offer descriptions of the Lord’s Supreme Abode in the final chapter. Ultimately, as our title indicates, we intend to uncover spiritual truths in psychic phenomena, which will lead us to the essence or to the Supreme Personality of Godhead. 

The purpose of these types of discussions is not to increase the reader’s interest in UFOs or other metaphysical pursuits; rather, the goal is to recognize the need for greater love and surrender. If I merely stir the reader’s interest in extraterrestrials or increase their fear, then I have failed in my purpose. My concern is to what degree this information will enhance one’s ability to appreciate the controlling hand of the Lord behind everything that exists? If this information helps people realize the desperate need to develop greater love and surrender to the Supreme Personality of Godhead, then this discussion has been successful. Ultimately, those who have learned to operate at a higher level of consciousness will be instrumental in bringing about a new era. This book invites the individual to take up his or her weapons of austerity, mercy, compassion, and love in order to join the spiritual warriors as we forge a new beginning under the banner of the Supreme Lord.
